Jonesville SOUP On Thursday, May 2, Jonesville High School students will get a chance to pitch their best and brightest ideas to a group of community “investors” at the first-ever Jonesville SOUP, to be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Jonesville High School cafeteria.The grassroots fundraising concept is a simple one, based on the original Detroit SOUP. The Jonesville version will ask community members to contribute a small donation to share a simple meal while listening to local high school students pitch ideas for small community-based entrepreneurial projects. At the end of the evening, everyone votes on their favorite project, with the winning student group receiving $500 to launch their dream.
